Next, Complete 6 Hour Behind The Wheel Training

After obtaining the permit, students under the age group must complete a 6-hour Behind the Wheel training course with a licensed school.

The first 2 hours of the course, along with the instructor’s signature on the permit, must be completed before the student can practice driving with their parents or guardians. The remaining 4 hours can be completed within six months from the permit’s issuance date.

For students aged 17 1/2 to 18, only completion of Step 2 is required.
